Travis Kelce is used to making headlines for his skills on the field—but these days, it’s his relationship with Taylor Swift that keeps the spotlight shining. And he’s speaking out about what it’s really like to date one of the most famous people on the planet.
During a recent episode of the “Bussin’ With the Boys” podcast, the 35-year-old Kansas City Chiefs star was asked if anything about dating Swift caught him by surprise.
“That’s probably the only thing I didn’t really grasp until you’re in it. That’s probably the craziest thing,” Travis said, referring to the constant media attention. “Like, I’m just playing golf and all of the sudden in the trees there’s just a f–king guy with a camera. Like, ah s–t. I gotta go to the restroom now. I can’t just go over here and take a piss.”
He added with a laugh, “Just don’t want my meat on Page Six, know what I mean?”
Travis also pushed back against the idea that their public outings are all for show. “We’re having fun with it, being a couple…We’re just enjoying life and having fun… [We’re] going to hockey games. [I’m] kind of trying to introduce her to some of the sports world that she hasn’t really [experienced].”
The couple has been spotted everywhere from NFL stadiums to NBA arenas—and they’re not shying away from being seen. For Kelce, it’s all about making the most of the moment, even if it means dodging photographers in the trees.
