The Try Guys have been in the headlines a lot these past few days because of a cheating scandal that their member, Ned Fulmer, is currently embroiled in.
The popular YouTube group have been working together since their Buzzfeed days. One of the guys, Ned, has been accused of cheating on his wife, Ariel. The other members of the group – Keith Habersberger, Zach Kornfeld and Eugene Lee Yang – reportedly found out about the infidelity claims when a video of Ned kissing their producer, Alex Herring, started making the rounds. Alex worked with the Try Guys.
Since then, The Try Guys, Ned, and Ariel have all released various statements on the matter. Read on to know what they said.
The first statement was released by the Try Guys:
“Ned Fulmer is no longer working with The Try Guys. As a result of a thorough internal review, we do not see a path forward together.
We thank you for your support as we navigate this change.”
Ned then released his own statement admitting to the affair:
“Family should have always been my priority, but I lost focus and had a consensual workplace relationship.
I’m sorry for any pain that my actions may have caused to the guys and the fans but most of all to Ariel. The only thing that matters right now is my marriage and my children, and that’s where I am going to focus my attention.”
Ariel took to her own social media to write:
“Thanks to everyone who has reached out to me – it means a lot. Nothing is more important to me and Ned than our family, and we all request right now that you respect our privacy for the sake of our kids.”
Ariel and Ned are parents to sons Wesley and Finn.
The Try Guys have recently released another statement to explain why they are not releasing a new episode of their podcast this week:
“The TryPod will be taking a week off, and returning next week on Oct 6. We wanted to take some time to formulate our thoughts before recording the episode. Thanks for being patient.”
