Vanessa Bryant and her daughter, 17-year-old Natalia, have blocked Kobe and Gianna fan accounts on Instagram and fans are wondering why.
Vanessa took to Instagram Story to explain that they need some space to heal following the tragic passing of Kobe and 13-year-old Gianna and seven others in the helicopter crash just this past January.
“Thx so much of all the 💜,” Vanessa began. “@nataliabryant and I have unfortunately had to block fan pages because it’s been really hard to go online and constantly see pics of our beloved Gigi and Kobe under every single square of our explore pages. Blocking the fan pages has helped change the algorithm.”
“We 💜 you all but please understand that we had to do this for our own healing not because we don’t appreciate your 💜,” she added. “Xo.”
The grieving widow and mother has been open about how she and her family have grieved following Kobe and Gigi’s deaths – she continues to pay tribute to both with heartfelt posts on Instagram, including honoring her daughter on what would have been her 8th Grade graduation. She also recently revealed two new tattoos to honor them.
