Get ready for the hottest night in November!
The annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is back stateside after two years abroad, (Last year, it was held in Shanghai, and the year before, in Paris.) and the Angels are spreading their wings!
The iconic brand’s flagship event was held on Thursday (November 8) at Pier 94 in New York. The show featured 60 models as well as top performers like Shawn Mendes, The Chainsmokers, Halsey, Kelsea Ballerini, Rita Ora, Bebe Rexha, Leela James and The Struts.
Aside from the stunning collection of Victoria’s Secret lingerie and elaborate wings, the show also featured designs from VS Pink apparel as well as a capsule collection from
Supermodels Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner have returned to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway after skipping the show in Shanghai.
Bella Hadid and Barbara Palvin also walked the runway. The Weeknd was there to cheer his girlfriend on and Dylan Sprouse reportedly brought his girl burgers after the show!
Behati Prinsloo also returned from a three-year hiatus looking great as ever. The 30-year-old model took time off to focus on her family – hubby Adam Levine and their two adorable kids 2-year-old Dusty Rose and 7-month-old Gio Grace.
On Wednesday (November 7), she took to Instagram to share her feelings about coming back.
“Felt like i never left, i love my @victoriassecret family so much, my first show was 2007 it’s crazy to think about how time flies. I’m nervous and more grateful for all of it then ever. LETS DO THIS.”
Other Victoria’s Secret Angels who graced the catwalk were Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Elsa Hosk, Jasmine Tookes, Josephine Skriver, Lais Ribeiro, Martha Hunt, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio, Stella Maxwell, and Taylor Hill.
Among the 60 models to walk the runway, in what is considered one of the most competitive castings in the industry, two of these years catwalk stunners have just made Victoria’s Secret history.
Winnie Harlow is blazing trails as the first model with vitiligo to walk the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway.
“I’m so excited to be here. It’s amazing we get to have more representation on everything from red carpets to movies to TV, runway, and magazine covers. I’m happy to be trailblazing today and showing some diversity,” Winnie said backstage.
Kelsey Merritt also made history as the first Filipino to sashay down the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The 21-year-old model took to social media to share her excitement.
“Soooo this just happened!!!!! Ahhhhh yesterday was a dream and it so much more than I have ever imagined!!! I can’t thank @victoriassecret enough for giving me the opportunity to walk in this year’s fashion show!! ❤️ #VSFashionShow,” Kelsey tweeted.

The $1 Million Bra
Swedish supermodel Elsa Hosk had the honor of showcasing the crown jewel of the show – the Fantasy Bra. Made using 100% Swarovski Created Diamonds and responsibly sourced topaz, the bra is embellished with over 2,100 Swarovski Diamonds and a 71-carat centerpiece. It’s estimated to be worth around $1 Million.
And guess what? Now, customers will be able to channel their inner Victoria’s Secret Angel, too! For the first time ever, the brand is reportedly coming up with a retail version of the piece made with Swarovski crystals. It will be available in selected stores and online.
Another stunning Swarovski piece on the catwalk is the Shooting Star. The black sheer body suit and 27-pound wings embellished with over 125,000 Swarovski crystals was worn by Angel Romee Strijd.
An Emotional Tribute
Lastly, the show marked the end of an era for one of the show’s iconic angels. Adriana Lima is hanging up her wings. According to Forbes, Adriana announced her retirement from the Victoria’s Secret Show and walked for her last time to a standing ovation.
But before the 37-year-old model took her 19th and final walk down the runway, the show put on a special tribute for her – a video montage of her epic career, ending with a “thank you” message.
After the video, Adriana shut down the show, waltzing down the runway solo to Hannah Grace’s cover of “Praise You.” The crowd gave her a standing ovation and she visibly became emotional, tearing up and holding her hands to her chest as she got to the end of the runway.
On Thursday (November 8), Adriana penned a heartfelt message to the brand that made her a household name and to her fans:
Thank you for showing me the world, sharing your secrets, and most importantly not just giving me wings but teaching me to fly. ❤️ to the best fans in the 🌎! Love, Adriana 💖”
