Miley Cyrus’ gift for Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner has sparked a whole debate over the couple’s baby’s name.
Joe and Sophie welcomed their daughter in July of last year. While the first-time parents haven’t officially shared the name of their baby girl, multiple outlets report, her name is Willa.
Shortly after revealing that Sophie had given birth, TMZ gave an update :”We’re told the baby’s name is Willa.”
A source also told Us Weekly, “Willa isn’t a family name and isn’t short for anything. [It] is a name they had picked out a while ago before the baby’s arrival.”
Fast-forward to Hannah Montana’s 15th anniversary on Wednesday (March 24). To celebrate, Miley sent Joe and Sophie a Hannah Montana-themed flower arrangement along with a handwritten note.
The couple both shared the sweet gift on Instagram Stories.
“Holy Hannah Montana!!! Thank you @mileycyrus, we love it! This is epic!” Joe wrote.
“Thank u, Hannah. We ❤️ U,” Sophie posted.
So, what does their baby have to do with Hannah Montana?
Well, fans zoomed in on the note, and saw Miley’s message, which reads: “To Joe and Sophie, It was so sweet of you to name your daughter after me! Sending all my love to little miss Hannah Montana. Love, Hannah Montana.”
Fans legit got confused – because up until reading that note, everyone was operating on the assumption that the baby’s name is Willa – and the name soon became a hot topic on Twitter.

“omg joe jonas and sophie turner named her daughter as hannah in honor of hannah montana,” another speculated.
It’s entirely possible that Willa’s middle name is Hannah. Then again, this could just be an inside joke between the couple and Miley, especially with Sophie being a huge Hannah Montana fan.
Last Christmas, Joe even gave her a special Hannah Montana t-shirt, and Sophie totally posted a photo of herself wearing it on her IG Story, tagging both Joe and Miley.
“Thanks to the hubbs of the year for my early X-Mas present,” Sophie captioned the photo.
