Henry Cavill is moving on to the next chapter of his career.

The 39-year-old actor confirmed on Wednesday (December 14) that he will not be returning as Superman after all in future DC films. This announcement came a few months after he teased his return to the iconic role, and left The Witcher. Liam Hemsworth was tapped to replace him after he left the Netflix show.

With Henry once again being free after Superman plans fell through, some fans have been hoping he would return to The Witcher. But sources from Netflix say this is not happening.

The insiders told outlets that there are no plans in motion to give Henry back his role on The Witcher.

However, Henry does already apparently have his next project booked!

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Henry is attached to star in and executive produce a series adaptation of Warhammer 40,000, a popular tabletop game. Henry is a real-life fan of the game and he has even painted figures to use as he plays.

Vertigo Entertainment is attached to executive produce the project along with Games Workshop. No writers or show runners are attached as of now. Amazon is in final talks to obtain the rights to the game.
