Channing Tatum is getting real about his past as a stripper.
In case you didn’t know, the 42-year-old star used to work as a stripper at a nightclub prior to making a name for himself in Hollywood. Later on in his career, he created the Magic Mike franchise based on his past experiences.
Now, while promoting the upcoming Magic Mike’s Last Dance, Channing spoke about whether he plans to eventually tell his 9-year-old daughter Everly that he used to strip for a living.
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Channing revealed:
“When she’s old enough to watch them, we’ll have that conversation.
There’s no version of me not having the conversation of ‘Dad didn’t just do them in movies, I was an actual stripper,’ so I’m not gonna lie to her.”
