Hold on to your seahorses, because Aquaman just shaved off his entire beard!
Jason Momoa says “it’s time to make a change” – and he just made a very drastic one to prove a point.
In a video posted on YouTube, the Game Of Thrones alum filmed the whole process of shaving off his facial hair – something he says he hasn’t done since 2012 – and talked about his take on how we can make changes to help the environment.

Jason urges people to stop using plastic bottle and switch to aluminum instead.
“About 75% of all aluminum that’s every been used is still in circulation today,” he shares in the video. “It’s a hundred percent recyclable…infinitely recyclable.”
And, when all is said and done, audiences get to see a clean-shaven Jason Momoa in the video. Be prepared to be shook!
Jason also shared a snippet of his video on Instagram, and wrote a little intro as to what was happening.
“Goodbye DROGO, AQUAMAN, DECLAN, BABA! I’m shaving this beast off, it’s time to make a change. A change for the better…for my kids, for your kids, the world. This totally surprising move comes just a few days before Earth Day, which is on April 21st.
Jason isn’t the only star who’s using his platform to talk about how we can help save the planet.
Lil Dicky has teamed up with some of Hollywood’s biggest names – and by “some,” we mean 30 or so, including Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Halsey, Zac Brown, Brendon Urie, Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Kevin Hart, Adam Levine, Shawn Mendes, Charlie Puth, Sia, Hailee Steinfeld, Lil Jon, Rita Ora, Miguel, Katy Perry, Lil Yachty, Ed Sheeran, Meghan Trainor, Joel Embiid, Tory Lanez, John Legend, Bad Bunny, Psy, Kris Wu, the Backstreet Boys, Benny Blanco, Cashmere Cat, and even Leonardo DiCaprio – for the climate change anthem “Earth.”
Lil Dicky recently appeared on Ellen to talk about why he came out with the song – “There’s an environmental crisis going on right now…We have 12 years to completely change the way we do so many things on Earth or the damage is irreversible.”
