Kanye West and Drake’s feud is alive and well – and Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus have something to say about it.
On Thursday (December 13), Kanye and Drake got into it yet again, firing at each other on Twitter. The two rappers dominated headlines and set the social media world ablaze with their insults, allegations, and pointed jabs. Their no-holds-barred, out-in-the-open clash caught everyone’s attention.
Including, as it turns out, Ariana and Miley. And the two ladies took to social media to call them out in the most epic way.
You see, Kanye’s very long Twitter rant came out merely hours before both Ariana and Miley were set to drop new tracks. So how did the pop stars react? By saying ‘Thank U, Next’ to the two older artists’ very public feud!
Ari sent out a message about Kanye and Drake’s hissy fits on Twitter, writing pointedly:
“guys, i know there are grown men arguing online rn but miley and i dropping our beautiful, new songs tonight so if y’all could please jus behave for just like a few hours so the girls can shine that’d be so sick thank u.”
And Miley responded with this:
“Didn’t they hear the news ?! War IS over ! Thank you , next! ❤️🧡💛💚💜”
These strong young women weren’t about to let their artistry be overshadowed by the drama of two grown men. Brava!
Ari released “Imagine”, the follow-up single to her smash hit “Thank U, Next”. And Miley dropped her version of John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s classic holiday staple “Happy Xmas (War Is Over)”.
As for Kanye and Drake? Well, we all know that Kanye addressed his ongoing feud with Drake over several hours, many, many tweets, and the use of a purple heart emoji. He even dropped a sinister reveal, saying that Drake was allegedly threatening his family!
The tweetstorm apparently had the result Kanye hoped for, when he revealed at the end:
“Drake finally called. Mission accomplished.”
And then he closed with this:
“By the way… not cleared.”
Oh, guys. Will this ever end???
