Yolanda Hadid doesn’t know how the proverbial cat got out of the bag, but she’s really excited to be a grandma.
In an upcoming interview with Dutch celebrity news talk show RTL Boulevard, Yolanda Hadid talks about her excitement to be a grandma.
The footage hasn’t aired yet, but the program’s Instagram post on Wednesday (April 29) teased about the Hadid family’s “little secret.” And Yolanda appears to confirm that her supermodel daughter is in fact pregnant!
“Still shocked our little secret got leaked to the press. Of course we are so excited. I’m excited to become Oma in September, especially after I lost my mom so recently. But this is the beauty of life, one soul leaves us and a new one comes in. We feel very blessed,” the quote on the image reads.
The caption, translated from Dutch, also says: “Yolanda Hadid has confirmed to us that her daughter Gigi is indeed pregnant. She becomes a grandma in September.”
Reports of ZiGi’s pregnancy hit the headlines earlier this week – Gigi is expecting her first child with on-again-off-again boyfriend Zayn Malik, whom she reconciled with in December.
The expecting mom is reportedly about 20 weeks along – and according to TMZ, the couple is expecting a baby girl.
Another source tells Entertainment Tonight that ZiGi is “over the moon” about the news.
“At the end of the day it didn’t matter to the couple what the sex was, but now they can prepare for the new addition before she arrives,” the source says.
Sleuth-y fans may have also discovered seemingly telling evidence that the couple has a baby girl on the way.
Bella Hadid posted some photos from Gigi’s 25th birthday celebration on her Instagram Story, and there was a pink gift bag on the table which was covered up by a sunflower emoji. Fans believe it’s from Target’s baby section that reads “Hello Little One” on the front!
The couple has yet to announce the baby news themselves, so keep it here for updates.
Meanwhile, Tyler Cameron, whom Gigi briefly dated over the summer of 2019, but went their separate ways in October, wants to set the record straight – he has nothing to do whatsoever with Gigi getting preggers.
Gigi and and Zayn reconciled just a couple of months after she split with Tyler, and Gigi is now reportedly 20 weeks pregnant.
Some fans seem to have overlooked that little piece of info, and are joking that Tyler is the dad.
“Congrats on becoming the father. Gigi is preg,” one fan commented during Tyler’s Instagram Live sesh on Wednesday (April 29).
“Y’all are wrong in the comments,” Tyler responded, laughing. “Y’all are terrible.”
And when a friend off-camera asked him what fans were saying, he simply replied, “I’ll tell you later.”
