It’s official: Zach Bryan and Brianna Chickenfry have called it quits. On Tuesday, October 22, the 28-year-old country star confirmed that he and the 25-year-old influencer, whose real name is Brianna LaPaglia, have broken up. This comes after Brianna shared a cryptic post that had fans speculating about trouble in paradise.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Zach addressed the situation directly. “Brianna and me have broken up with each other, and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart,” Zach wrote. “She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that, I’ll always thank her.”

Zach went on to explain that his personal struggles over the past year played a role in their decision to part ways. “I have had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things,” he shared. “I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways.”

Admitting he’s not perfect, Zach expressed remorse for any pain he may have caused. “I am not perfect and never will be. Please respect Brianna’s privacy and space in this, and if you have it in your heart, mine too,” he added. “With everything I am and to anyone I let down, I am sorry. I try my best in everything. I failed people that love me, and mostly, myself.”

Just a day before Zach’s announcement, Brianna had posted a handwritten note on her Instagram that seemed to hint at the split. Her message had fans wondering if something had gone wrong in the relationship.

“And eventually you’ll find that life goes on, even if you don’t want it to,” Brianna wrote. “The days will pass, and the world will move while you ask it to stop. You’ll believe life is cruel for continuing on while your feet are stuck.”

She continued, “You’ll find people and moments to blame for your concrete feet. Then there will come a morning when you wake and realize things go on. Life isn’t cruel, your feet are. The world keeps on spinning in hopes of showing you that you can as well.”

Following Zach’s confirmation of their breakup, Brianna took to her Instagram Story to share how she’s really feeling—blindsided. “Hey guys, I’m feeling really blindsided right now,” she wrote. “Gonna hop off social media for a while and attempt to heal privately. When I’m ready, I’ll be back and ready to talk.”

She also took a moment to thank her followers for their support. “I love you guys so much, thank you for all your kind words. Remember you are so loved, and everything’s always gonna be okay,” Brianna added.

The couple was first romantically linked in July 2023 and had quickly become a public favorite, often seen together at high-profile events. They even shared some cute PDA while attending the 2024 Grammys, where they appeared to be going strong.

Despite the public breakup, it seems both Zach and Brianna are focused on healing and moving forward—albeit in their own ways.
