Zoe Kravitz and Channing Tatum were once one of Hollywood’s favourite couples, so when news broke in October 2024 that they had ended their engagement, fans were understandably heartbroken.
Now, in a new interview, Zoe is opening up about their split and whether it has changed her perspective on their film Blink Twice, which she directed and starred in alongside Channing.
“For Chan specifically, it was about how exciting it would be to see him do something so different and so surprising, and something that I knew he was so capable of,” she said, reflecting on his performance in the film.
As for whether the breakup has changed the way she sees the project, Zoe was quick to shut that down.
“Not at all. I love this thing that we made together, and I care for him very much.”
She added, “Even when you bring up how great his performance is, it warms my heart to hear that, and I’m so happy that all of it happened. I just feel so grateful that we got to go on that journey together.”
And as for Channing’s future? Zoe has nothing but praise.
“He has so much more coming, and I think he’s in a place as an actor where he’s feeling really confident and people are seeing different sides of him. He’s got a lot to offer, so I’m excited for people to keep witnessing that.”
While their romance may have ended, it’s clear there’s nothing but mutual respect between these two.
