Aaron Taylor-Johnson is opening up about his personal life.

In a new interview with Esquire, the 33-year-old Craven The Hunter star addressed the speculations surrounding his relationship with wife, Sam Taylor-Johnson.

He touched on the theory that their relationship works because it is rooted in creative partnership and spoke about first meeting the 56-year-old director:

“I don’t think that’s accurate. Yeah, we worked – I met Sam as actor and director. I think we’re really great at collaborating.

But that’s not why I fell in love with her.”

Aaron revealed that for him, it was one of those gut instincts, and that he knew right away when he met Sam – and even before they met, by the time he was about 10 or 11 years old – that:

“I was going to have a big family. I knew I was going to be a young father. I knew I was going to have many kids.”

The couple are said to have started dating after they met on set of the 2009 drama “Nowhere Boy” which was Sam’s directorial debut. They tied the knot in 2012 when Aaron was 22 and Sam was 45.
