Adan Banuelos, the 35-year-old cowboy who has captured the heart of supermodel Bella Hadid, is finally opening up about their relationship in a rare and candid interview. The couple, who first sparked dating rumors in October 2023, has kept much of their romance under wraps until now. But Adan’s recent comments give fans a glimpse into their life together and just how much Bella means to him.
Bella, 27, and Adan first caught the public’s eye when they were seen sharing a kiss in his native Texas. Their romance quickly became the talk of the town, and by February 2024, the couple made their relationship Instagram official. Soon after, it was revealed that Bella had made the significant decision to move to Texas to be closer to Adan. This move seemed to cement their bond, and now, Adan is sharing some new details about what their relationship has been like since then.
During his appearance on the Along For The Ride podcast, Adan couldn’t help but gush over Bella and the life they’re building together. He revealed that Bella didn’t hesitate to dive into his world, even moving into his 5th-wheel trailer when they first got together. “She did do the 5th wheel, happily. It was badass,” Adan shared, clearly impressed by how Bella embraced the simple life. He added with a laugh, “That 5th wheel has always felt small and then you get, you know, somebody that you enjoy spending time with and that 5th wheel went from a 5th wheel to a f—king mansion.”
For Adan, it was crucial that Bella understood and accepted his lifestyle before things got more serious. “It was cool because I really wanted that to be a part of our relationship,” he explained. Adan went on to talk about how his feelings for Bella made him start thinking about the future. “You start having feelings for somebody and you start thinking things like, ‘Man, maybe this is the rest of my life here.’ And knowing that she is that simple of a human being [and] that the material things aren’t important — or the most important thing.”
Bella’s willingness to adapt to Adan’s lifestyle wasn’t just about where they lived; it also extended to how she supported him in his passion for horses. Adan fondly recalled Bella waking up at “2:30 in the morning” to bring breakfast to his equestrian competitions, showcasing her dedication and warmth. “Being that consistent and that uplifting and positive and warm to everybody she meets and helping with horses and stuff like that it’s just freaking amazing,” Adan said, clearly touched by her efforts.
As their relationship has grown, so has their living situation. While they initially lived together in Adan’s trailer, Bella eventually bought her own place in Texas. Meanwhile, Adan has been busy building a new house. “I’m working on building a home [but] it’s gonna take me a little bit, but she bought something that was a good investment for her,” Adan explained. Though they currently have separate residences, Adan hinted that they’ll figure out their long-term home base down the line.
Adan’s admiration for Bella doesn’t stop at her adaptability and support. He couldn’t help but rave about her as a person, hinting at the strong future he envisions for them. “Man, I can’t tell you how happy I am. I can’t tell you how fortunate I am,” Adan said with heartfelt emotion. “This young lady is one of the kindest, biggest-hearted, and sweetest person I’ve [ever met]. I mean, I didn’t know God made ’em like that.”
It’s clear that Adan is head over heels for Bella, but he’s also quick to point out that her inner beauty surpasses even her famous exterior. He noted that Bella’s external beauty “is nowhere near compared to what she’s like as a human being.” In Adan’s eyes, Bella deserves nothing but the best, which is why he’s been working hard to get his life in order. “I’ve been trying to get my life in order so that I can share that with her,” he confessed. “I’m so screwed you guys,” he added with a laugh, making it clear that Bella is his No. 1 priority.
During the podcast, Adan also shared the story of how he first met Bella at a horse show in Fort Worth, Texas, nearly a year and a half ago. The two bonded over their mutual love for horses, and from there, their relationship blossomed. “From there it went in a positive direction and she puts up with me and she loves me and I’m head over heels for her,” Adan said with a smile. “It’s been absolutely awesome.”
