Anya Taylor-Joy is a woman of many talents — and she’s recently revealed a particular one she has that she’s been using to troll her friends!

During her interview on The Late Late Show with James Corden, the actress said that she has a secret talent that she uses to mess with her friends and have a bit of fun. The talent? Being able to shed tears on cue.

Anya dished about how it all goes down:

“So this little light misting of tears, yeah, that I do to my friends all the time. Well — this is really mean — but when I’m with my friends and I want troll them…”

She does also reveal, however, that her mates have seemed to caught on to her little trick:

“When I’m out with my friends — I can’t do it as much now because it’s kind of lost the appeal — but sometimes I’ll just start crying and be like, ‘You can’t speak to me that way’ in public and just wait to see what happens.

But now they don’t put up with it anymore!”

The Last Night In Soho star opened up too about how she learned to cry on cue:

“The first time I ever had a crying scene in a film, I didn’t know how to approach it. So I was like, ‘I know — I’m going to think about every thing bad that’s ever happened to me from 5 o’clock in the morning onward.

They kept pushing my scene to the end of the day, so eventually I cried for 12 hours straight. Not on camera! And they’re like, ‘It’s time,’ and I’m like, ‘I got nothing for you, man.’

So yeah, [I learned how to cry on cue] kind of out of necessity.”

Anya likewise made another interesting reveal recently: The reason behind her Jell-O wrestling in a Tigger onesie!

The Jell-O wrestling, which happened after the 2021 Emmy Awards, actually occurred because of an awesome rule she made for herself. On her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres show, Anya shared the details:

“Awards shows are frightening… So I’ve made a rule that whenever I do something that’s scary, I get to do something ridiculous that I’ve always wanted to do.

So out of the couture gown and into the Tigger onesie is the rule of thumb now.”
