Pete Davidson and Madelyn Cline are reportedly no longer loved up! The couple, who were first romantically linked ten months ago, have officially called it quits, according to PEOPLE. The U.S. Sun initially reported the news, sparking speculation about the end of their whirlwind romance.
Davidson, 30, and Cline, 26, confirmed their relationship in September 2023. The Bupkis actor and the Outer Banks star quickly became one of Hollywood’s talked-about new couples. Their romance seemed to heat up when Cline attended Davidson’s standup show in Las Vegas. The two spent “a quick 24 hours” in the luxurious Crockfords Entertainment Suite at Resorts World Las Vegas, marking the beginning of their public outings.
The pair’s first public appearance together came a month later when they attended a Saturday Night Live afterparty following Davidson’s hosting gig for the season 49 premiere. Sources at the time described the couple as “keeping to themselves” but “seeming very lovey” amidst a star-studded guest list that included Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
Their romance seemed to be blossoming despite their busy schedules. In December, after Davidson canceled several of his shows due to “unforeseeable circumstances,” he and Cline were seen enjoying drinks and a meal at Bobo’s Café in Somers, New York. However, after that December outing, the couple was rarely seen together in public. Despite this, fans spotted Cline in Davidson’s Netflix special, Turbo Fonzarelli. In the final credits, she appeared on a private jet, dressed casually in a hoodie and puffer jacket, though Davidson wasn’t pictured. This cameo fueled speculation that the two were still close, even if not frequently photographed together.
Both Davidson and Cline were coming out of significant relationships when they began dating in September 2023. Davidson had recently ended his relationship with his Bodies Bodies Bodies co-star, Chase Sui Wonders, and prior to that, he had a high-profile romance with Kim Kardashian that lasted nine months.
