Ariana Grande rang in her 27th birthday on Friday (June 26) with a Midsommar-themed celebration AND by going Instagram official with Dalton Gomez.
The “No Tears Left To Cry” singer shared a slideshow of photos and videos on Instagram before her special day, which included her dogs, an adorable childhood photo, and a sweet couple photo with Dalton who had his arm around her shoulders.
She later shared several photos from her flower-filled birthday bash – including a photo of Dalton kissing her cheek! And, yes, there’s also a snapshot of them in a full-on kiss!

They’ve been rumored to be dating for months – they were caught on camera sharing a kiss on Valentine’s Day – it took a while before Ari and Dalton started making public appearances as a couple. They made their debut as a couple last month, in the music video for the Ariana Grande-Justin Bieber collaboration “Stuck With U,” and Dalton also made a cameo in the promo they shot for her Lady Collaboration “Rain On Me,” (he was holding the shower head somewhat behind the scenes). Ari’s birthday posts, however, are the first time that he’s full-on appeared on her IG feed.
A source told People that Ari and Dalton, who’s a luxury real estate agent, have been dating since January, and have pretty much been quarantining together.
“Ariana is staying at home with friends. She is very serious about self-distancing and has been with the same group of people for days,” the source said. “One of the people she is with right now is Dalton—they have been hanging out for a couple of months. Ariana doesn’t want to do another public relationship so she is trying to keep this one quiet, but she seems very happy with Dalton.”
Ari, who was previously in highly publicized relationships – with ex-fiancé Pete Davidson and the late Mac Miller – appears to be more cautious about keeping her personal life on the DL as of late.
A source to Entertainment Tonight, “Ariana has had some hesitation being so public about her relationship with Dalton as she’s seen how that has worn on her past relationships. Dalton and Ariana are in Los Angeles together during quarantine, and it has been a great opportunity for them to spend quality time together.”
