Bella Hadid is positively relishing her new role: Being an aunt to Khai, her sister Gigi Hadid’s baby with Zayn Malik.
The 25-year-old model gushed about how much she’s loving the aunt life in a new interview with E!’s Daily Pop. She spoke about her 13-month-old niece — and her adoration was completely overflowing! Bella sweetly said:
“I want to be with the baby and I want to wake up early and be there.
I never knew that I could have this much joy in my life. She’s the biggest gift. Our family has changed in the best way for the better.”
She also adorably stated that being an aunt to baby Khai is the best role ever end the best gig that she has ever had, and jokingly asked:
“Are there full time aunties out there?”
Last month, Bella wrote a super sweet message to her niece for her first birthday. She shared lovely photos on her Instagram along with this note:
“Happy Birthday to the greatest gift our family has ever been blessed with… I didn’t;t know my heart could grow this big!!!
You make me smile when I’m sad and make me cry of happiness just because ur alive. I can’t wait to watch you grown into the most perfect specimen of all time @gigihadid @zayn thank you for my forever best friend.”
Earlier this month, Gigi took to social media to pen a heartfelt message for Bella on her birthday, and she spoke about how much of a presence Bella has in Khai’s life and in her heart. Gigi wrote about her sister:
“She’s my baby sister but also a firecracker of a spiritual bodyguard and a forever protector as an auntie. I have so much pride watching you take ownership of your growth and fulfillment, and I know everything that you have created for yourself will bring you the year of joy and light you deserve!!!!!!
