Beyoncé’s got an exciting new project coming up!
The 41-year-old Renaissance superstar is teasing a new venture on social media – and it seems to have something to do with hair.
Taking to Instagram, the powerhouse singer shared a photo of herself in front of a vanity and styling her hair. In an accompanying note, she began by saying:
“How many of ya’ll knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon?”
She went on to wax poetic about hair and it’s connection to her career:
“Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were gettin their hair done. I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon.
I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy.”
Beyonce concluded with this exciting line:
“I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.”
