Going blonde was indeed a sign!

Billie Eilish is gearing up to usher in a new era – and, her fab new ‘do is front and center of her album cover!

The “Therefore I Am” singer announced the follow up to her debut album, When We All Fall Asleep Where Do We Go?, on social media Tuesday (April 27).

Posting the album cover, which gives off some major 1950s vibe, Billie revealed the title of her sophomore release, Happier Than Ever, which will drop on July 30.

“This is my favorite thing i’ve ever created and i am so excited and nervous and EAGER for you to hear it,” the 19-year-old GRAMMY winner shared in the caption. “i can’t even tell you. i’ve never felt so much love for a project than i do for this one. hope you feel what i feel.”

But that’s not all – she’s dropping a new single, too!

“alsoooo new song out thursday at 9am too!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH,” she added.

She got that right. “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” indeed.

Ahead of her announcement, Billie also teased what seems to be a snippet of the album’s title track, which features the lyrics “When I’m away from you, I’m happier than ever,” sung over a ukulele instrumental.

Fans will recall that Billie and her brother and no. 1 collaborator, Finneas, actually worked on this song while they were making her documentary Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry – there’s a scene of it in the doc!

The 16-track album also includes her previously released song “Therefore I Am,” which dropped last fall.

Billie kicked off the year strong with the release of her documentary film, her amazing performance at the 2021 GRAMMYs, and her second Record Of The Year award win.

Just days after appearing at this year’s GRAMMYs, where she was still rocking her then-signature green-and-black locks, Billie shocked fans when she debuted her platinum blond hair on social media, which sparked speculations of new music coming.
