Billie Eilish isn’t happy with people impersonating her for their online prank videos.

Apparently, there are people dressing up like Billie – oversized clothes, neon green hairstyle –  in order to prank innocent people into thinking that it’s her. And they’ve been uploading videos of the whole thing on YouTube.

But Billie is NOT having it – and took to Instagram Story to ask them to cease and desist.

“Please stop doing this s–t. It is not safe for you and it is mean to people who don’t know any better you make me look bad,” she wrote on a screenshot of one of the prank videos posted online.

And there’s A LOT of Billie Eilish-themed videos popping up. She shared screenshots of those, too, writing, “Please” and “Stop.”

She also called out one particular outfit that a person wore in their attempt to copy her style. “Also soooo disrespectful that you’d go out pretending to be me wearing THIS,” she captioned a close up of a pair of pretty drab gray knee-high socks.

The impersonator in question, photographer Jordan Matter, has since responded on Instagram.

“Hello everyone. You’ve been commenting on the video shoot I did yesterday, and I’d like to respond. I gathered a crowd and had an acrobat pretending to be Billie do a huge cheer flip, which revealed it was not Billie. I had absolutely no intention of disrespecting Billie. I’m a big fan, like everyone else. I’ve never done a celebrity impersonation video before, but they’re pretty common so I thought it would be fun to add my own acrobatic twist. I felt it was completely harmless since at no time in the video are we pretending that she is actually Billie. I have reached out directly to Billie and Maggie and apologized, and I will not post the video without their permission. I hope this clarifies everything,” he wrote alongside a photo of the person dressed as Billie doing an aerial stunt.

Brava to Billie for calling out this trend. It IS unfair to get fans’ hopes up like that just for the sake of content.

Another celebrity also recently took to social media to ask fans to stop trolling her pinky fingers.

Earlier this week, Hailey Bieber walked the red carpet with her hubby Justin Bieber (their first time since tying the knot!) at the premier of Justin’s docuseries Justin Bieber: Seasons.

In the photos, fans noticed that her pinky finger was slightly crooked, which raised a ton of questions.

So, Hailey went on Instagram Stories to explain why her pinky was “crooked and scary”  – and revealed a genetic disorder she’s had her whole life in the process.

“Ok, let’s get into the pinky conversation…because I’ve made fun of myself about this for forever so I might as well just tell everyone else why they’re so crooked and scary,” Hailey wrote alongside a photo of her hand, with the finger in question encircled.

“I have this thing called Ectrodactyly and it causes my pinky fingers to look the way they do. It’s genetic, I’ve had it my whole life. So people can stop asking me, ‘wtf is wrong with her pinky fingers’. Here is what’s wrong. Lol,” she wrote in a second post.

And she ended her posts with an emphatic plea: “so, in conclusion, please stop roasting me about my pinky fingers.”

Please leave Hailey’s pinky alone.
