Blake Lively’s style game has always been on point and she’s one of those people who never seems to have a bad hair day or an off day looks-wise. In short, she’s pretty much glam personified – which is why it’s so surprising when she recently admitted that she felt “insecure” with her post-baby bod following the birth of her and hubby Ryan Reynolds’ third child.

The actress posted a throwback photo from January 2020, when she went on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and got candid about the reason behind her style choices for the show – fyi, she looked totally amazing.

“I put together a @lanvinoffical shirt and dress from @netaporter to make this pretty outfit, because no one had samples that fit me after giving birth,” she began. “And so many clothes from stores didn’t fit either. So. Many.”

“It doesn’t send a great message to women when their bodies don’t fit into what brands have to offer. It’s alienating and confusing,” Blake admitted. “And I wish I felt as confident then as I do now, a year later looking back. That body gave me a baby. And was producing that baby’s entire food supply. What a beautiful miracle.”

“But instead of feeling proud, I felt insecure. Simply because I didn’t fit into clothes. How silly is that in retrospect,” she added.

Blake and Ryan welcomed their third child, Betty, in 2019. They’re also parents to six-year-old James and four-year-old Inez – and if those names remind you of Taylor Swift songs, it’s because she “named all the characters in this story after my friends’ kids.”

Blake previously opened up about the difference of having two kids to having three kids – all under the age of six!

“It’s like going from two to 3,000,” she said on Good Morning America last year. “I mean, we have so many children. It’s pretty crazy. We’re outnumbered, and it’s a lot. People say going from two to three, it’s the same, you know, it’s kind of easy — those people do not have three kids.”

“It is real crazy. But I’m here,” she joked.
