It’s official: Britney Spears and Sam Asghari are married!
According to a report by People, the couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony on Thursday evening (June 9). They said “I do” at her Los Angeles home, surrounded by their inner circle.
Multiple sources revealed to the outlet that around 60 guests were in attendance, including Madonna, Paris Hilton and Kathy Hilton, Drew Barrymore, and more.
It was reported earlier in the day that Britney’s mom, dad, and sister Jamie Lynn will not be in attendance. Her brother Brian however was reportedly at the wedding.
Her ex Kevin Federline also revealed earlier that their two sons would not be at the wedding.
Britney was a vision in a gown that was designed by Donatella Versace. The happy bride walked down the aisle to “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Elvis Presley.
An insider shared to People:
“Britney started planning and dreaming about her wedding shortly after she got engaged in November.
It’s a huge deal to her that she is finally able to get married. She wants it to be perfect.”
Another insider revealed:
“Britney and Sam are officially marrie. Both of them are overjoyed.”
Britney and Sam were first linked after the two met on the set of her music video for “Slumber Party” back in 2016. They got engaged in September 2021.
