Dixie D’Amelio is taking fans inside her high-rise apartment.

The 20-year-old TikTok star and budding music artist moved out on her own last year. Despite her busy schedule, she’s also spent time transforming her new space into her own little sanctuary.  The “Psycho” singer is now giving fans a tour of her apartment in a recent YouTube video.

“After a year of living in my apartment, I’m doing an apartment tour,” she began. “It’s still not completely finished and I’m moving out in a couple months, so it’s time to do it.”

Taking fans into her living room, which has a large TV, gaming consoles and a popcorn machine, she shares it’s where she takes her morning coffee every day.

Her dining room is right off the kitchen and features a wall dedicated to displaying her “music stuff” – including her Billboard No. 1 award for “Thriller” and “Be Happy” plaque for reaching 300 Million streams. Her kitchen has an island which effectively separates the space from the dining area.

“It’s pretty organized in here so I don’t really use it too much,” she says, confessing, “I usually just eat microwave mac and cheese.”

She also revealed that one previous mishap that has put her off using a particular kitchen appliance completely.

“I don’t use my dishwasher,” she says. “If I wash dishes, I only wash them in the sink because I washed my dishes once, and I posted, it like spilled all over the ground. All the bubbles like flew everywhere and that was like the first day of living here by myself.”

Dixie has converted many of the rooms to suit her needs – including a glam room where she filmed getting ready for the Met Gala and a music room, which used to be a guest room, that now houses her instruments and equipment. She also has a “bag wall” right outside her bedroom where her luxury bags are put on display.

Her bedroom mostly follows the same style as her old room in their Connecticut home – including the gray headboard on her bed. She also hung a painting over her bed that boyfriend Noah Beck gave her for Christmas. The seating area by the window is occupied by several plushies – most of them from Noah as well.

Her wardrobe occupies several spaces around the house – including her glam room where she stores her curated looks. Dixie also has TWO walk-in closets and a rack inside her bedroom. She keeps her accessories organized in the cabinet seamlessly hidden behind a mirror mounted on the back of her dressing room doors. Her bathroom has his-and-hers vanities, a shower area, and a separate bath tub.

She reveals she sees some interesting things from her vantage point, too.

“I see people get red light tickets all night. I can just sit and watch the light go off and, [be] like, ‘Aww that sucks,’” she said.

The modern interiors are mostly done in black-and-white and meticulously organized. Explaining her aesthetic, Dixie shares, “I don’t love too much color because it makes it look too messy sometimes.”

Dixie also talks about being a homebody. “I like being home a lot and I spend a lot of time just chilling with my thoughts.”

Charli revealed that Dixie had moved out on her own in an October 2020 episode of their 2 Chix podcast.

“I wanted to start off by talking about, um, a new place that Dixie lives… ’cause apparently she decided she was allowed to move out and I wouldn’t be myself,” Charli said. “Which I personally do not think is okay, but I finally got to see her new little apartment and it’s, first of all beautiful and she has a lot of snacks, but I don’t know. I don’t get invited over that much.”

“I invite you over all the time and you’ve only come once, so that’s your fault,” Dixie responded. “I really don’t want to have anyone over yet because I’m not done moving in. I mean, all my stuff is there, it’s just in boxes and messy.”

The elder D’Amelio also shared what it was like having her own place for the first time.

“Living alone is really fun, but at the same time, it’s scary because it gets so quiet. I have no one to talk to, but also I like that. I don’t know how I feel about it,” she admits. “I think also, once I get all my stuff together… I’m just very anxious being home ’cause my place is a mess, because I don’t have anywhere to put anything, but once I get that figured out, it’s going to be a lot easier I think.”
