Not many can claim that Rihanna sang them Happy Birthday on their special day – but one Riri fan can, and there’s videos to prove it!
In a now-viral video on TikTok, Samirah Abdullah was celebrating her 23rd birthday with some friends at Nobu in New York City, and got a sweet surprise from the Fenty Beauty founder.
According to Samirah’s friend Nini, who shared the videos on TikTok, they spotted Riri over at a nearby table in the resto. She approached the singer and asked if she would join their table, telling her it would mean “the world” if Rihanna took a picture with the birthday girl.
But, apparently, Rihanna suggested another idea to surprise Samirah – and that’s what they went. She told Nini to go back to the table and tell them she refused. But when it was time for the waiters to bring out the cake, guess who walked over to sing the birthday girl “Happy Birthday”?
Yep, Riri totally surprised Samirah with the sweet gesture. She also took a photo with them at the table.
“She was so freaking nice about it,” Nini gushes in her video. Plus, she also noted that Rihanna smells really good, which is completely unsurprising.
A stunned Samirah was “just amazed” at the surprise, and later told Entertainment Tonight, “I kinda froze, like, this couldn’t be real life.”
In conclusion, Rihanna is just awesome.
