“My friend Chris Martin did a lovely little concert from home today,” John tweeted. “I’ll be doing one tomorrow at 1pm Pacific time. See you soon. We’ll try to get through this together! #TogetherAtHome.”

With his Monday performance cancelled, Keith Urban also went on Instagram Live to perform a 30-minute set with his band.

“I was supposed to be playing tonight and I just thought it would be nice to be able to play anyway,” he said in his live stream. “Even though we can’t be in front of all you guys tonight I want to be able to play some songs and bring a little bit of entertainment into your screens.”

David Foster and Katharine McPhee teamed up to form a husband and wife duo and performed live for fans.

They had so much fun, they would be livestreaming a concert everyday.

🎼was so fun today to go live with my wife-I’m the worlds worst piano accompanist for other people’s songs but Kat is so amazing that she pulls me thru-we are going to try to do it every day-for our own entertainment and hopefully for all of you too-any suggestions are welcome-we were def rookies today and i sucked!! But fun !!! We will try to go live at 5:30pm west coast time every day!!” David wrote on Instagram.

“hi guys- just me here wearing the same sweater for 3 days. me & the hus @davidfoster had so much fun at the piano today going live. we wanna try and do it everyday at 5:30 PT cuz what else is there to do?” Katharine likewise wrote on her IG, asking fans to comment their song suggestions. She also gave David’s daughter, Erin Foster, a shoutout for the “great idea.”

Matchbox 20’s Rob Thomas covered Crowded House’s “Don’t Dream It’s Over” on Instagram, in what he called “Social Distance Sessions.”  He also invited his musician pals John Mayer, Chris Daughtry, Gavin DeGraw, Brandi Carlile and the Counting Crows to post their own.

“During these uncertain times the entire world is shutting itself down. Part of that means that people aren’t going out and enjoying live music or any entertainment. I’m kicking this off and I invite all my brothers and sisters in the music world to go on Instagram and share a little something with people to help them while they hunker down in their homes,” he captioned the video of his performance.

Pink, who is learning piano, also went on Instagram to give fans a look at her rehearsal sessions on the piano. Spoiler alert: she’s already really good on the keyboards!

“Free concert slash piano lessons from my heart to yours. To make you feel my love 😍 rehearsals,” she wrote alongside the video of her covering Adele’s “Make You Feel My Love.”
