Donald Glover surprised fans with some new music for quarantuning on Sunday (March 15) – albeit for just a short while – with a 12-track album that dropped on the website www.donaldgloverpresents.com. The songs streamed on loop for several hours on Sunday (March 15).

It seems that Donald has ditched his alter-ego, Childish Gambino, for this project, as the album appeared to be titled Donald Glover Presents. The LP featured some of his previously released songs like “Feels Like Summer,” “Algorythm,” and “Warlord,” as well as songs that appeared to feature Ariana Grande and 21 Savage. Fans also claimed that SZA appeared on a feature as well.

Oddly, though, no info about the album was released – the website simply displayed a four-panel cover illustration of a crowd of people which appears to be a riot of some kind. Some fans on Twitter noted the graphic was fitting considering the current situation with the global Coronavirus pandemic. The link to the site was also retweeted by Donald’s manager Fam Rothstein.

But, just hours after it dropped, the songs mysteriously disappeared without any explanation. Fam’s RT has also disappeared – actually, her whole Twitter account appears to have been deleted! None of the songs are currently available on streaming services either.

Not entirely sure what just happened here. His reps have yet to respond to request for comments.

Donald has previously said that he would be retiring Childish Gambino after his fourth album and tour.
