Dua Lipa is moving beyond the stage and stepping in front of the cameras!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the GRAMMY-winning performer is set to make her acting debut in a star-studded spy thriller titled Argylle.

The film, which will come out in 2022, also stars Henry Cavill, Sam Rockwell, Bryce Dallas Howard, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, John Cena and Samuel L. Jackson. It will be helmed by Kingsman: Secret Service director Matthew Vaughn and is based on the soon-to-be-released spy novel Argylle by Ellie Conway.

And, the “Levitating” singer won’t just be showcasing her acting skills – she’ll be writing an original song for to be movie’s title track, too.

Dua shared a look at the movie poster on social media, which she captioned, “#ARGYLLE 2022 @MARV_films.”

Dua has previously opened up about how a meme about her lack of energy in a past performance pushed her to work harder.

“I just wanted to make sure that this time around, I was very much in control of the fact that I’m going to do the music, then I’m going to rehearse,” she told Vanity Fair. “And then when I come in and I do the performances, they’re all going to be amazing. I’m going to prove to people that I can do this and that I’m here to stay.”

She’s since heated up stages with amazing performances – including the GRAMMYs, the American Music Awards, the MTV EMAs, and this year’s BRIT Awards. And, it looks like she’s out to fire up the silver screens too!
