Emma Watson is opening up about a major moment during the Harry Potter reunion!
The 31-year-old actress shared her thoughts and emotions about the incredible event in a new interview with British Vogue — and she candidly spoke about one memorable moment in particular which had fans all over the world absolutely melting.
Emma addressed the moment that Rupert Grint told her that he loved her, revealing that it was the “most emotional” part of the entire reunion for her. She said:
“When Rupert says things, he really means them. I was taken aback by how vulnerable and kind he was deciding to be so publicly.”
She likewise revealed how Dan’s words touched her during the event:
“Similarly for Dan, it really touched me how reflective he had been over the years about how different it had been for me as a girl.”
Emma stated that she, Rupert, and Dan do not text much, but that they do “speak individually”:
“Rupert sends me pictures of [his daughter] Wednesday and I die. Dan and I generally try and calm each other’s nerves.
We both mainly try and stay out of the limelight so it’s been nice to have each other’s support, knowing there was going to be another wave of attention coming.”
She also addressed the fan frenzy surrounding her relationship with another Harry Potter co-star, Tom Felton, saying that nothing romantic ever occurred between them. She called the fan excitement around their close friendship “sweet.”
And about returning to the Harry Potter set, Emma said:
“I am just so happy they still exist! Most film sets are torn down the minute a scene is finished. I am so happy eBay are still there for people to enjoy, me included.
[Set designer] Stuart Craig is truly a genius. What he did is perfect.”
