Gigi Hadid & Zayn Malik have reportedly ended their relationship.

Multiple sources have reportedly confirmed that the 26-year-old supermodel and the 28-year-old singer are no longer together.

A family friend of the Hadid dished to PEOPLE:

“They are not together right now. They are both good parents though. They co-parent. Yolanda is of course very protective of Gigi. She wants the best for her daughter and grandchild.”

The news of their split comes after reports exploded about an alleged altercation between Zayn and Gigi’s mother Yolanda. The altercation, which occurred when Yolanda checked in on Khai who was with Zayn while Gigi was away, involved a heated exchange. Zayn also allegedly hit Yolanda.

When the alleged dispute went public, Gigi released a statement via her rep, which said:

“Gigi is solely focused on the best for Thai. She asks for privacy during this time.”

Before the story of the said altercation broke, Zayn released a statement concerning a then-unnamed family member of Gigi. He said:

“As you all know I am a private person and I very much want to create a safe and private space for my daughter to grow up in. A place where private family matters aren’t thrown on the world stage for all to poke and pick apart. In an effort to protect that space for her I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner’s who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago. This was and still should be a private matter but it seems for now there is divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been ‘leaked’ to the press.

I am hopeful though for healing for all involved with the harsh words shared and more importantly I remain vigilant to protect Khai and give her the privacy she deserves.”

Moments after he posted this, news of the altercation began making the rounds. He released a second statement shortly after:

“I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid and for the sake of my daughter I decline to give any further details and I hope that Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards healing these family issues in private.”

Zayn has since been charged with crimes against Gigi and Yolanda. Official documents reflect that Zayn is said to have been charged with four criminal offenses of harassment. He reportedly pled guilty to one and pled no contest to the rest.

The altercation happened on September 29 at Zayn and Gigi’s Pennsylvania home. Zayn allegedly called Yolanda a “f—king Dutch slut”, and told her to “stay away from [my] f—king daughter,” “the f—king sperm that came out of [my] f—king c—k.”

He is then said to have “shoved [Yolanda] into a dresser causing mental anguish and physical pain.”

Zayn was also said to have screamed at Gigi to “strap on some f—king balls and defend your partner against your f—king mother in my house.”

A security guard was reportedly present at the time, to which he is said to have yelled, “Get the f—k out of my f—king house copper.” Zayn also reportedly attempted to fight the security guard.

He denies any physical contact took place.

It’s being reported that on Wednesday, Zayn pled no contest to harassment and was fined, the conditions being: He is on 90 days probation for each of the four counts, for a total of 360 days. He is also required to complete an anger management class as well as a domestic violence program. Zayn must not have any contact with Yolanda nor the security guard.

If all conditions are met after six months, the probation could be terminated by the judge.

However, reports have since come out saying that he actually pled no contest to all four counts. TMZ says:

“Although one official doc says he pled guilty to one, court officials tell us he actually pled no contest.”

Amidst all of this, Gigi’s sister Bella took to social media to post a quote about self-improvement, which said:

“I can do nothing for you but work on myself. You can do nothing for me but work on yourself.”
