Are Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn engaged?!?

Tay’s new documentary, Miss Americana, is now streaming on Netflix. Fans were delighted to see a lot of Joe in the film – like when gave Taylor a hug after one of her shows ON CAMERA, and there was a part where Taylor was seen mouthing “I love you” to him.

One particular scene (without Joe though) have fans in a tizzy – because she was spotted sporting a massive bling on THAT finger in the film. And it’s seriously sparking engagement speculations.

The scene in question is when Taylor talks about breaking her silence on politics. “I want to be on the right side of history,” she said, before lifting up her hand and low-key revealing a shining, shimmering, splendid diamond on her ring finger.

When InStyle asked the film’s director Lana Wilson for confirmation on Tay’s relationship status, all she said was, “Whoa…I’m going to have to revisit that scene.”

Still, this isn’t the first time that Taylor and Joe have sparked engagement speculations. When Swfities gave all the lyrics of Tay’s latest album, Lover, a fine-toothed combing through, part of the lyrics in the romantic ballad, “Lover,” fueled that theory.

“Ladies and gentlemen will you please stand / I take this magnetic force of a man to be my lover / My heart’s been borrowed and yours has been blue / All’s well that ends well to end up with you / Swear to be overdramatic and true to my lover.”

With its wedding-themed lyrics bridge, fans speculated that Taylor may have already gotten engaged (or even married!) to Joe. Plus, Taylor told Vogue that the bridge of the track is “one of my favorite bridges.”

Plus, the song’s opening lines have many fans thinking that the couple are already living together.

“We could let our friends crash in the living room / This is our place / We make the call.”

Notice how the lyrics point out “This is our place”?

Think they’re engaged?
