It looks like Britney Spears may have reconnected with her sister Jamie Lynn.
In a new post on social media on Tuesday (June 20), the 41-year-old pop icon seemingly implied that she and her sister have reconciled.
Taking to Instagram, Britney implied that she recently visited Jamie Lynn on set. She uploaded a video of herself dancing on a boat, and captioned the video:
“It was nice to visit my sister on set last week!!!
I’ve missed you guys so much!!! Loyal girls stay home but it’s so nice to visit family!!!”
She did not specify which set it was that she visited, but Jamie Lynn did reveal recently that her new movie Zooey 102 will be premiering next month.
The post may have come as a surprise to many fans because both Britney and Jamie Lynn have been candid about their very rocky relationship. Most recently, Britney took her sister to task on social media for comments that Jamie Lynn made about the sisters’ relationship.
At the time, Jamie Lynn said:
“I’m so proud of her, love her to death.
But I don’t know. Sometimes I feel like I don’t really have anything for myself.”
Britney was not pleased with what Jamie Lynn said, and responded:
“Are we gonna say it was hard being my sister ???? Hmmmmmmmmmmm …. really ???”
[My family] hurt me and nothing was done except that I lost 15 years of my life with my family owning my name … subjected to being an angel while my dad has 5 women on his tour bus drinking that cup of coffee … so cool and smooth it must have been nice owning my name for 15 years.”
