Time for a little Heidi Klum update. The 50-year-old model is setting the record straight and isn’t having any of the diet rumors swirling around. After wrapping up the first live show of this season’s America’s Got Talent, she took to social media on Tuesday night (August 22) to address the ongoing chatter about her calorie intake.

Here’s what went down: Earlier that same day, Heidi caused a stir by spilling some tea during an Instagram Q&A session. She decided to drop a truth bomb about her actual weight. But guess what? That’s not where the story ends. Media outlets caught wind of it and decided to add a little spice by claiming Heidi had also revealed her daily calorie count – a mere 900 calories, they said.

Well, hold your horses! Heidi wasn’t about to let these reports slide. She took to her Instagram Stories to set the record straight, with no minced words:

‘I just got home, and some friends are sending me these articles that have been written that I only take in 900 calories.

One, I want to say, I don’t think I’ve ever had to count my calories in my life, and don’t believe everything that you read.”

But she wasn’t stopping there. Heidi doubled down on her message, making it clear she’s not a calorie-counter:

“So, I don’t count my calories.”

But wait, there’s more! Heidi had another card to play. She also explained her decision to open up about her weight:

“Someone asked me how much I weigh, and I got on the scale and showed how much I weighed. I don’t know. People just put things together and just write a bunch of crap, and it’s really sad because there really is no real journalism anymore.

One person writes it, and then everyone jumps on it, and it’s really sad because, you know, people read that and they think that and possibly follow that, and that’s not good.”

So there you have it, folks – Heidi Klum ain’t buying into the diet drama.
