Hilary Duff just had the best response to her husband’s loving message for her!

Hilary’s husband Matthew Koma honored his wife by posting a sweet, heartfelt tribute for her as she began working on her new show, How I Met Your Father. Taking to social media, Matthew wrote these words:

“One of my favorite pictures of wifey somewhere between supremely fulfilled, exhausted, and why the f—- are you taking my photo. She started her new show this week and it’s so rad watching her kick into that mode.”

He went on to share:

“It’s easy to forget when she’s nailing it as a mama bear, wife, family psychologist and chicken lady, that she was first an absolute ace hat what she was born to do. This show is gonna be epic.”

He ended with by hilariously detailing her Subway pick:

“Also, to keep her grounded – her Subway order below. White bread. Turkey Mayo. Lettuce. Pickle. Olive. Salt pepper. White cheese. Oil and vinegar. Tomato. Not toasted.

Hilary had the most epic reply to Matthew, writing:

“Oh you’re gonna get it. This is bound to get him baby number 4 and subway night 3 tonight.”

Yup. EPIC.

Hilary and Mike share two children, daughters Banks and baby Mae. She has an older son with Mike Comry named Luca.

How I Met Your Father is a spin-off of the beloved series How I Met Your Mother starring Neil Patrick Harris, Colby Smoulders, Alysson Hannigan, Jason Segel, and Josh Radnor. The spin-off is a reverse of the original show, wherein Josh’s character Ted tells his kids the story of how he met their mother. In the new series, Hilary’s character Sophie is telling her son how she met her father in a story about friendships, adulthood, and falling in love in a 2021 setting.

Among the 10-episode Hulu comedy’s exective producers are HIMYM creators Craig Thomas and Carter Bays.

How I Met Your Father stars Hilary, Chris Lowell, Francia Raisa, Tom Ainsley, Tien Tran, Ashley Reyes, and Josh Peck. The pilot will be directed by Pam Fryman, who directed 196 out of 208 episodes of the original show.

Of being part of the show, Hilary has said:

“I’ve been incredibly lucky in my career to play some wonderful characters and I’m looking forward to taking on the role of Sophie. As a huge fan of How I Met Your Mother, I’m honored and even a little nervous that [HIMYM creators] Carter and Craig would trust me with the sequel of their baby… Just fan-girding over here getting to join the Hulu Originals and 20th families. I realize these are big shoes to fill and I’m excited to slip my 6 1/2’s in there.”
