Jamie Foxx has released his first statement amid his hospitalization for a ‘medical complication.’
The Hollywood super star has been in the hospital for over three weeks.
His daughter Corinne took to social media on Wednesday (April 12) to reveal that her father suffered a ‘medical complication’ and was in the care of medical professionals:
“From the Foxx Family: We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experiences a medical complication yesterday.
Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.
We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time. Much love, The Foxx Family.”
Since then, varying reports have come out about Jamie speculating about his condition. Very recently, one report from TMZ even claimed that friends were urging everyone to pray for the actor.
Now, Jamie himself has broken his silence, sending a message to his fans.
He took to his social media to post a quick update, writing:
“Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling the love.”
Jamie included the praying hands emoji, heart emoji, and fox emoji in his post.
