Jennifer Lawrence is revealing her truth.
The 32-year-old actress is addressing the cheating rumors surrounding her in connection to Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus.
After Miley released her smash-hit track “Flowers” months ago, many fans immediately connected one part of the song to Jennifer. If you can recall, Jennifer admitted in the past that she and Liam kissed once.
A big rumor that stemmed from the music video of “Flowers” was that during their time filming Hunger Games together, Liam may have cheated on Miley with Jennifer.
Now, while playing Plead the Fifth on Watch What Happens Live!, Jennifer was asked this question:
“When Miley Cyrus’ song ‘Flowers’ debuted, there was a lot of talk that the music video was referencing a secret fling that you had with Liam Hemsworth while he was with Miley Cyrus.”
Jennifer declared in response:
“Not true… Not true, total rumor.”
She went on to say:
“We all know Liam and I, like, kissed one time.
It was years after they broke up. So I just assume [the music video] was a coincidence.”
In Miley’s music video for “Flowers,” she is wearing a gold dress that looks a lot like a dress Jennifer once wore to a Hunger Games premiere back in 2012. Fans were quick to link the gold dresses, which fueled the rumors of Liam possibly cheating on Miley with Jennifer.
Liam and Miley dated on and off for several years before tying the knot in 2018. They split up in 2019.
