Jennifer Love Hewitt recently took a moment on Instagram to share her reflections on what’s been a challenging ride through the year. The 9-1-1 actress, at 44, bravely opened up about the struggles she silently navigated through 2023.

“This year I went thru a lot no one knew about,” Jennifer poured her heart out on her post, “and was grateful for that privacy.

Amidst it all, she found solace and joy in being a dedicated mom to her kids—Autumn, 10, Atticus, 8, and Aidan, 2—with husband Brian Hallisay. “I had the greatest time being a mommy at home with my kids.”

Embracing the sweetness of family time, she discovered the art of baking and the importance of carving out space for herself—mind, body, and soul. “Learned to be a better baker. Learned it’s okay to take time for myself mentally, physically and emotionally. Did a lot of praying and manifesting.

Belly laughed more than ever. Had the longest cold of my life. Was forced to have more faith than normal. Learned to love working out as a gain for my mental health. Took chances on myself and my bigger dreams. Sat deeper in grief and was able to let more go.”

She reflected on the ups and downs, revealing her newfound perspectives and lessons. “Learned to love working out as a gain for my mental health. Took chances on myself and my bigger dreams,” Jennifer shared.

Her journey also led her to moments of profound loss, glimpses of her mother’s presence, and the wisdom to bid farewell to negativity, making room for positivity in the coming year. “Felt my mom around us and saw signs that she was. Said goodbye to things that don’t serve positivity in my life and made room for lots of good things in 2024. Celebrated 10 years with my guy. Got some tattoos. And truly let whatever I needed to learn teach me.”

Jennifer’s words echoed a profound sense of hope and gratitude. “And so here I am. Happy, blessed, grateful, and filled with hope,” she penned, wrapping up her heartfelt post.

In her wishes for the new year, Jennifer extended her prayers for a brighter world, hoping for lesser pain, fear, and heartbreak. Her message resonated with warmth, love, and a deep desire for collective healing. Here’s to hope, growth, and an abundance of positivity in 2024! Happy New Year!
