Joey King is helping to spread cheer to the kids at a children’s hospital in Atlanta.

The 22-year-old actress is currently in town filming her new Netflix movie, Uglies, and she partnered with Coca-Cola North American and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to surpass the children.

Joey shared of her experience:

“It was a gloomy rainy morning, but the sun came out just in time for my visit to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston Hospital.

It was wonderful to meet some of the hospital staff who take such great care of these kids, and see the love and care they poured into decorating the space to bring some Real Magic to them during the holidays.”

She sweetly stated that the best part for her was getting to talk to some of the kids:

“The best part, by far, was getting the chance to speak with a few of the kids during our virtual meet and greet last night – I’m super grateful to Coca-Cola North America for that experience.”

And she also shared her thoughts about making a difference, saying:

“Overall, you don’t need big gestures to make a difference to those around you.

I think for me it’s all of the little things I do for those in my life – and them for me – every day that have meant the most, especially this year. It can be as simple as making time for the people you love to watch a movie with, cooking with your best friend, or sharing a Coke – to inspire Real Magic.”

Coca-Cola launched its new global brand platform, “Real Magic” this fall as a worldwide invitation to celebrate humanity and serve as a reminder that “magic lives in the moments of connection that happen when people come together to embrace our unique perspectives, just like we come together to share a Coke.”
