Justin Bieber is breaking his silence on his wife Hailey’s hospitalization last week.

On Wednesday (March 16) during his Justice World Tour stop in Denver, the 28-year-old singer spoke for the first time about what happened to Hailey.

He opened up when his show was interrupted during a power outage in the middle of his set. In a video shared on Instagram, he said:

“You know, it’s kind of crazy how life randomly throws you curveballs. You know, we can’t really control much. You know, tonight the power cutting out. Obviously, you guys know, most of you probably know or seen the news about my wife.”

Justin went on to say that Hailey is strong and she is on the mend:

“She’s OK, she’s good, she’s strong.

But it’s been scary, you know? Like, it’s been really scary. But I know for a fact that God has her in the palm of his hands and that’s a good thing.”

He expressed his appreciation and gratitude for his fans and the opportunity to be with them:

“But tonight, I just, you know, I’m really grateful to be here with you guys just celebrating life, you know?

There’s a lot of horrible things happening in the Earth right now, and for us to be in this room all together, you know, laughing, smiling, singing songs, I mean, I can’t think of a better place I’d rather be. So, thank you, guys, for joining me tonight.”

This past weekend, Hailey confirmed that she had been hospitalized for “stroke-like symptoms” which turned out to be a very small blood clot to her brain.
