#BIEBER2020 is in full swing.
Justin Bieber kicked off the year with a new song, “Yummy,” which dropped January 2. And before January is done, he dropped two new projects for fans to enjoy.
Now, there have been speculations as to what the song is really about. The song has kind of a sexy groove and many think that the 25-year-old singer is singing about his wife Hailey – but the whole thing is still a big question mark.
When Justin went on Ellen on Tuesday (January 27), Ellen DeGeneres took it upon herself to get to the bottom of things and finally asked him what “Yummy” is about.
“[It’s about] my sex life,” he replied before taking a big gulp of water and laughing.
He and Hailey tied the knot in September 2018 – less than a year since they rekindled their romance. But while all the things they’ve gone through in their whirlwind romance appears to be a spontaneous thing, he also revealed how much thought he put into settling down before he popped the question to Hailey.
“I was extremely nervous,” he admitted to Ellen. “In the past we talked about me asking the question and I felt like she would say yes, so I wasn’t really nervous about the saying yes. But I think I was more nervous about, am I going to make this commitment? Am I able to make this commitment as a man and be able to honor, you know, what I say? Because, you know, that’s a serious commitment when you say you’re going to love someone for better, for worse and be faithful, that’s huge. Am I able to do that?”
“I finally was like, ‘You know what, I’m going to make the decision and follow through with it. Be a husband,'” he says. “This is what I’ve always wanted. I’m going to just choose this woman and just do it.”
“I’m glad it worked out because she is an amazing, amazing, amazing person,” Justin said. “She really is. She’s super precious. I enjoy spending my life with her.”
Justin and Hailey made their red carpet debut as a married couple on Monday (January 26). The lovebirds rolled up to the premiere his docuseries, which was held at the Regency Bruin Theatre in Los Angeles, and even shared some PDA moments on the red carpet.
The same day, he dropped a new track – his collab with Kehlani titled “Get Me.”
His YouTube docuseries Justin Bieber: Seasons dropped on YouTube on Tuesday (January 27). And he’s got more sweet surprises for fans – his upcoming fifth studio album has a name AND a release date.
Justin made the announcement on Instagram, writing, “My new album #Changes out Feb 14. Pre-order and get the new track with my friend @kehlani ‘Get Me’ now”
Beliebers have even more to look forward to – Justin is gearing up to go on tour again – almost three years since he cut his Purpose Tour short in 2017. His Changes Tour will kick off in North America on May 14.
