Justin Timberlake has more that he wants to say to Britney Spears.

The 40-year-old singer had been noticeably silent ever since his ex’s 13-year conservatorship ended earlier this year after the 39-year-old pop icon bravely and publicly fought for her freedom. But now, it seems he’s ready to break that silence – privately.

It’s being reported that Justin would “love” to see Britney personally and talk to her. In February, he took to social media to write a public apology to her about the way he handled their relationship. In June, he voiced his support for her following her explosive and heartbreaking testimony in court about her conservatorship.

This time around, it’s said that he wants to meet up with her face to face for a more private conversation.

A source dished to HollywoodLife:

“Justin loves to see that Britney is now living the life that she wanted for so long. He loves seeing her embrace all the good that will come from her being out of this conservatorship.

Justin would love to talk to Britney if Britney wanted to talk to him.

But he also does not want to get in the way of the life she is seeking.”

Days after it was reported that he wanted to talk to Britney, she took to Instagram to share a video of herself dancing to his moving ballad, “Blue Ocean Floor.” Along with the video, she wrote:

“I wanted to feel graceful yesterday…

I like challenges they bring value!!! What do you value in your life and how do you want to do better as a person in the future???”

This is not the first time Britney has posted a video of herself dancing to her ex’s music. In April 2020 she posted one where she is seen dancing to Justin’s “Filthy” along with this caption:

“I know we had one of the world’s biggest breakups 20 years ago… … but hey the man is a genius!!!! Great song JT!!!!”

As for Justin, he wrote this on Twitter after he court testimony in June:

“After what we saw today, we should all be supporting Britney at this time. Regardless of our past, good and bad, and no matter how long ago it was… what’s happening to her is just not right. No woman should ever be restricted from making decisions about her own body.

Jess and I send out love, and our absolute support to Britney during this time. We hope the courts, and her family make this right and let her live however she wants to live.”
