Kanye West was not welcome at Skechers.
The rapper and fashion mogul, who has been losing partnerships left and right amidst his anti-semitic rants, hit a snap when he arrived at one of the Skechers buildings in Los Angeles. He apparently had to be escorted out by two executive team members after his unannounced appearance.
Skechers released a statement about Kanye going to one of their LA buildings for a meeting that apparently did not exist. In the statement, the company said that Kanye “arrived unannounced and without invitation.” They said he “was engaged in unauthorized filming,” going on to say that “two Skechers executives escorted him and his party from the building after a brief conversation.”
The brand declared what many other companies and brands have stated when it domes to working with Ye: They will not be doing so.
The statement read:
“Skechers is not considering and has no intention of working with West.
We condemn his recent divisive remarks and do not tolerate antisemitism or any other form of hate speech.”
