Karlie Kloss is getting candid about her marriage and the family she wed into.
The 29-year-old model is married to Joshua Kushner, brother to Jared Kushner who is the son-in-law and former senior adviser to former President Donald Trump. Jared is husband to Donald’d daughter Ivanka.
Given the Kushner connections to the Trump family, it’s not unexpected that Karlie’s marriage has been surrounded by controversy. Now, she is sharing her thoughts about the controversies and speculations.
In a profile for WSJ Magazine, Karlie spoke about marrying into the Kushner family. Here’s what she said:
“I’ve learned to stay away from the comments section. I just try and… speak out on things that I am authentically passionate about…
I live my life and try to show my values through my actions.”
She also spoke about her famous mom friends which include Irina Shayk, Emily Ratajkowski, and Ashley Graham:
“The mom group friendship thing – I was always like, ‘Yeah that’s cute but that’s not going to be me.
[Now] I don’t make a move without asking my mom friends!”
And when talking about what she’s most proud of, Karlie sweetly stated:
“My first baby, Kode with Klossy, and bringing my son into the world.”
