Kelsea Ballerini is clearing up some wild speculation about why she postponed multiple shows on her Kelsea Ballerini Live! tour.
After announcing delays due to illness, the 31-year-old country star was met with a flood of comments, including one TikTok user who guessed, “Maybe pregnant!?!”
Kelsea’s response? A simple and slightly exasperated, “Or maybe it’s the flu. Yeah.”
She was forced to cut her Buffalo, New York show short due to being unwell and later took to Instagram to update fans, revealing that her Pittsburgh and Toronto shows would also be rescheduled.
“Buffalo, I am so so sorry that I could not finish the show tonight. I am sicker than I am trying to be and I did not want to let anyone down tonight. I just got through the first few songs and I couldn’t do it. I’m so sorry, but I never want to give you a half-a-s show,” she wrote.
Kelsea assured fans she’d make it up to them: “I will make them the best shows I’ve ever played in my whole life. I will put out every stop for you and I will make it so worth it.”
The rescheduled shows will now take place on April 11, 12, and 13.
