There’s been a lot of speculation on a possible reconciliation between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. However, a big development in their divorce suggests that their split is very much still on.

Court documents filed on Tuesday (October 12) reveal that Kim will be keeping their $60 Million dollar Hidden Hills estate, which also happens to be their family home, as part of the divorce settlement.

According to TMZ, the estranged couple had an “extremely cordial” negotiation and Kim will be buying out Kanye’s share of the home.

A source also tells Entertainment Tonight that the rapper also wanted to keep their four children in their current routine.

“Kanye agreed to give Kim the house because it’s close to her family and they didn’t want to uproot the kids from their routine. Kanye has told friends he’d give Kim whatever she wants, as he loves her and knows he’ll be fine financially,” the source told the outlet. “The two have had a very amicable divorce and remain very close.”

Fans will recall that it was Kanye who actually worked alongside architect Alex Vervoordt to design their minimalist home. Him handing it over to Kim could be a sign of how amicable they are as exes.

Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in February, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. She also requested joint physical and legal custody of their kids – eight-year-old North, five-year-old Saint, three-year-old Chicago, and one-year-old Psalm – and is not asking for spousal support.

Kanye responded to Kim’s divorce petition in April, where he likewise requested joint custody of their children and waived spousal support. He also wants both of them to pay their own lawyer’s fees.

Over the past few weeks, the estranged couple began sparking reconciliation rumors after they were spotted grabbing a meal together on a number of occasions. Kim also showed her support for the rapper in his Donda listening events. Kanye was also reportedly the one who introduced Kim to Balenciaga’s Creative Director Demna Gvasalia as well as gave her advice for her SNL hosting debut last weekend.

However, the source explains that it’s all just about the pair coming to agreeable terms amid their split.

“Kanye and Kim are moving forward with the divorce, even though recent signs have pointed to a reconciliation. Kim and Kanye are in a very good place, but they aren’t getting back together,” the source shared.

In case you missed it, Kanye recently bought a $56 Million dollar beach house in Malibu. He’s also listed one of his two ranches in Wyoming for sale for $11 Million.
