Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have weathered a lot of ups and downs as a couple. But, following news that Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in February, fans have been wondering what led to the Hollywood couple calling it quits.

The latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ final season finally touches on KimYe’s marital woes – with Kim’s family worrying about her dealing with tensions in her marriage.

Apparently, it started in July, when Kanye made headlines with his Twitter rant, which took aim at Kim and her mom Kris Jenner – he’s since deleted the tweets though and issued a public apology to Kim.

“Kanye’s been in Wyoming and he’s been posting a lot of things on social media,” Kim explained to the KUWTK cameras. “That is a little bit frustrating, but you just have to kind of separate yourself from what’s going on at home and what’s going on on the internet.

Kim doesn’t delve into specifics on cam, but did say that the world is correct in thinking that she and her husband “have issues.” Then, there’s Kanye being resistant to even seeing her, which she got from talking to one of his assistants.

“I just feel like she’s struggling a bit, with all this stuff going on,” a worried Kris says.

She then encouraged Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian to have a girls night with their sister to help take her mind off the million things Kim has been juggling – including the pressures of her marriage and her journey to become a lawyer.

“I don’t know how she’s dealing with the stress of it all, that’s what I worry about. She’s always the calm in the storm, and she’s got a lot on her plate,” Kris adds.

“She can’t possibly navigate this on her own,” Kourtney agreed.

Kourt and Khloe manage to pull off a nice private dinner to help their sister “escape reality” – complete with four wait staff amid the height of the pandemic – for which Kim was totally grateful, saying, “There’s so many f—ing stressful things going on, that I needed this the most,” Kim shared.

During the dinner, Kourtney shared that she talked to Kanye to talk about some of the tensions in the family.

“He said it would be nice to be able to say things,” she recounted. “I said, ‘Yeah, say what you want to say. Maybe it will start people thinking a certain way or getting a thought in their head, but did you have to say those tweets publicly?’ And he said, ‘No, you’re right. I shouldn’t say that publicly.'”

Kim doesn’t openly discuss her feelings on camera, but some seemingly pointed conversations were had, including Kourtney announcing she’s happy being single and “living her own way of life” – to which Kim raised her glass for a toast.

The next day, Kim was all, “I think sometimes I just have to figure things out on my own. I’m gonna go to Wyoming for a minute and just figure it out.”

“My life with Kanye, I got this,” Kim told the cameras. “I’m dealing with it on my own, it’s gonna be OK.”

Khloe later tells her “I do just want you to know, it’s never a problem, you’re never a burden on me or your sisters or your mom.”

She also lets Kim know that their whole family is “here to love and support her” no matter what she “chooses to do.”

Kim filed for divorce from Kanye on February 19 after six years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences and requesting joint legal and physical custody of their four children – North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
