Kim Kardashian is finally giving fans hint as to what led to her divorce in the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
The SKIMS founder filed for divorce from Kanye West in in February. Although their split have been the subject of headlines for months, neither have publicly spoken out about their marriage woes – until now.
In the penultimate episode of KUWTK, Kim confides to her sisters about struggling with her relationship and feeling like she’s not the wife that her Kanye needs.
After Kim blew up at seeing a plate of cookies in their vacation rental in Lake Tahoe – she complained about no wanting to gain weight during the trip – Khloe explained in a confessional why her sister was so short-tempered about it.
“Kim has been struggling privately behind camera about her relationship and it’s tough because Kim is clearly redirecting so much of her frustration and sadness and anger,” Khloe said. “And, you know, sometimes you just take things out on something that has nothing to do with what you’re going through. It’s not the cookies’ fault.”
In another confessional clip, Khloe also revealed that Kim and Ye had had a fight just before the trip, saying, “Kim is dealing with so much right now, and it’s tough because before we left, her and Kanye had this big fight.”
There’s some footage of Kim talking to her sisters after the fight, where she confided, “I honestly can’t do this anymore. Why am I still in this like, place where I’m stuck for years?”
“Like, he goes and moves to a different state, every year, I have to be together so I can raise the kids, you know?,” she continued. “And he’s an amazing dad, he’s done an amazing job. I think he deserves someone that can go support his every move, go follow him all over the place and move to Wyoming — I can’t do that. He should have a wife that supports his every move and travels with him and does everything.”
She also reflected on how her third marriage is panning out. “I feel like a f–king failure, that it’s like, a third f–king marriage. Yeah I feel like a f–king loser. But I can’t even think about that like, I want to be happy,” she said.
Khloe tried to reassure her sister that she can always talk to her about it. But Kim was all, “There’s honestly nothing to talk about. I mean, I won’t live with the fighting and stuff, like, if it was constant.”
So, this all went down a couple of months before Kim officially filed for divorce in February. However, rumors of their impending split have been swirling as early as a January. Kanye didn’t respond to the divorce petition until April.
In the documents files, both parties listed irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce and are asking for joint legal and physical custody of their four children.
