KJ Apa is getting everyone talking!

The Riverdale star recently opened up about a dream that he has and hopes to achieve someday: Appearing on RuPaul’s Drag Race as “Fifi,” a persona of his who’s been going viral on TikTok.

In a new interview with NME, the 24-year-old actor and new dad spoke about how much he loved RuPaul. He revealed:

“[I] told my agents I want to be on that show. But at the same time, ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ and the characters on that show, they’re the real deal, they’re the most authentic.”

He also spoke about Fifi being an authentic side of him:

“I don’t think I’d be allowed on that show because I’m not the real deal. But why did I share Fifi with the world? Because it’s not something that I feel like I need to hide.

I am proud of Fifi. I really enjoy that [side of me].”

KJ went on to delve deeper about how much Fifi means to him:

“No one’s asked me about Fifi before, but she’s been living inside of me for a long time.I have quite literally known and messed with this character since I was eight, nine, 10 years old. She allows me to express the feminine side of myself through moving and my physicality.

My sisters would dress me up in drag as a kid – I’d put on lipstick and wear wigs and stuff – and I used to love exploring that part. It was epic.”

We agree, KJ, and we adore Fifi!

Aside from candidly and honestly opening up about wanting to be on RuPaul and his “Fifi” persona, KJ’s also got people talking about something else — more specifically, he’s just gotten us all wondering if he was now off the market!

In a recent Instagram post, KJ shared a video revealing how he used some of Clara Berry’s breastmilk in his coffee. KJ and Clara recently welcomed a child together.

It was his caption that caught everyone’s eye:

“My wife is a milk machine and I love it.”

The ‘wife’ part of the post has led to speculations that he and Clara may have already tied the knot.

For her part, Clara simply commented on KJ’s post with:

“Happy to feed my family.”

Interesting!
