Kelly Clarkson’s home in Encino, California is no longer part of her real-estate portfolio.

According to multiple reports, the American Idol alum has officially sold her custom-built 10,108-square-foot home for $8.24 Million. However, the sale is actually at a loss, as she bought the property for $8.5 Million back in 2018.

The modern farmhouse, which is located in the same star-studded neighborhood where Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, as well as Selena Gomez live, was originally listed at $9.995 Million in May 2020 and have since seen a few price cuts since. The closing price comes at a $260,000 loss for the singer and talk show host – and that’s not counting any additional expenses she put in for improvement and the real estate fees from the sale.

The eight-bedroom farmhouse-style mansion is all about the rustic-luxe vibe – wood-paneled exterior, handmade wooden barn doors, and blended wood and brick flooring. There are formal living and dining rooms for entertaining as well as more relaxed spaces for family living like the great room that houses the gourmet kitchen.  It also comes with added luxurious comforts like a home theater, game room, fitness center, and a temperature-controlled wine room.

The master suite alone is massive, with its own fireplace, a separate sitting room, a private patio, and an huge walk-in closet. The property also boats eight full en suites and two strategically placed half bathrooms, an expansive backyard with a large lawn space, full outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven, lounge area with fire pit, pool and spa, a separate two-story guesthouse, and a three-car garage.

Kelly lived in the Encino home for two years before listing it for sale amid her divorce from Brandon Blackstock.

Kelly filed for divorce from Brandon in June 2020 after seven years of marriage. After nearly a year and three months of divorce proceedings – during which the L.A. county judge granted her primary custody of their three kids, upheld their prenup, and ordered her to pay almost $200,000 in spousal support – a judge signed off on declaring them legally single in August. Per Us Weekly, their “marital or domestic partnership status” will end in January 7, 2022.

As for Kelly’s new digs, just a few months ago, Kelly bought a home in the nearby San Fernando Valley’s Toluca Lake neighborhood.
