Maya Hawke is beautiful and talented and full of that elusive “IT factor.” And it’s no wonder, because she is the daughter of two very beautiful and talented individuals themselves who have both accomplished so much in the industry and have exuded pure star power every step of the way.

Her parents are of course Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, who both boast a rich body of work in film. They’ve made some pretty iconic movies and continue to do so — but Maya has revealed that there is one movie of her mom’s that she just does not like to watch.

The Stranger Things actress opened up about her famous parents in a recent interview with The Guardian, talking about the movies they’ve made and which ones she’s seen, which ones she loves, and which ones she’d rather skip.

She spoke about how she hasn’t watched all their movies, and how it’s because it can be affecting for her to watch them in difficult and emotional scenarios, even if she’s aware it’s all not real:

“It’s funny, I haven’t seen them all. Sometime you don’t really want to watch your mom getting shot or your dad go through painful emotions, even though you know it’s pretend.”

So which movies of mom and dad does she choose to watch? She says:

“Mostly I only watch the happy ones. One of my favorite movies of my mom’s is The Producers, where she’s dancing around being fabulous.”

And as to her least favorite of their films? Maya says it’s Pulp Fiction! She elaborated:

“[The Producers is] much more fun to see than John Travolta jamming a needle into her heart!”

Well, that does make sense!

Earlier this year, an acclaimed director that her mom worked with in one of Uma’s most iconic roles revealed that he would like to work with both mother and daughter in a potential new project.

Quentin Tarantino, who directed Uma in Kill Bill Volume 1 and 2, shared back in July about an idea he has for Kill Bill 3 and how awesome he thinks having both Uma and Maya be part of it would be:

“…Just revisiting the characters twenty years later and just imagining the Bride and her daughter, Bebe, having 20 years of peace, and then that peace is shattered.

Now, The Bride and Bebe are on the run and just the idea of being able to cast Uma and cast her daughter Maya in the thing would be f—king exciting.”

We would totally see that movie!
